SMILES

A smile can mean so much, when
you meet up on the way.
And when it team's up with the eyes,
It gives a clue to what they say.
It tells when you are, happy, and tells
us when your glad.
And it also helps a little bit, even
if you are sad.
There, are many types of smiles, with
different meaning to.
Like a smile of satisfaction when a
problem broken through.
The showing of pleasure, when you meet
a friend of early years.
And you both recall the days gone by,
the good times and the tears.
A smile of anticipation, when the
birthdays are getting near.
And one of apprehension when you see the
dentist chair.
There is the sly and slimy smile,
when it's time to vote.
When they fill your head with promises,
with very little hope.
The smile of the new born baby, it's first
to all around.
And the smile of delight, when a
long lost treasure found.
So smile when you are happy and try
when you are sad.
Then perhaps your troubles will fade away
and life won't seem so bad.
