Salmon Pate
This is a very simple starter for up to 8 people. it is severed cold so is ideal, as it can he prepared the day before. It is very easy to prepare and only needs a pretty dish (or individual ramekins to set it off).
This is another recipe made from memory so has probably changed over the years!
1lb canned salmon -drained
6oz full fat soft cheese
1 small onion finely chopped
2 tbap lemon juice
2 tbsp horseradish sauce
salt and pepper
Chopped fresh parsley
Lemon wedges
Water biscuits
1. Mix and mash all of the ingredients together very well.
2. Put Into the serving dish..
3. Put In fridge and leave overnight.
Sprinkle with parsley and serve with lemon wedges and water biscuits.
So easy and yet so tasty !!!
