CentrePeace comes to Reach

Many Reach people are customers of CentrePeace, the small shop and information centre run by St Mary’s Church in The Causeway in Burwell and enjoy browsing for second hand books or simply having a cup of tea. We’re delighted to say that CentrePeace now comes to Reach on the 2nd Wednesday of each month from 2-4pm.

The back of St Etheldreda’s church (and in fine weather, the garden) will be transformed into a ‘mini-CentrePeace’, with good quality second hand books for sale, together with greetings cards and Traidcraft items – including their famous ginger biscuits and chocolate! Of course, you’ll be welcome to stay for a complimentary cup of tea or coffee. Finally, on most occasions Sue Evans will be there in her capacity as Parish Nurse to offer advice and support on matters relating to health and well-being.
