Sale by Auction, taken from the Cambridge Chronicle, 18th May 1782 pg 3

To be sold by auction, by Jonathan Mason, on the premises at Reach in the county of Cambridge by order of the assignees, on Thursday May 30 1782 at two o'clock in the afternoon.

The following estates of Richard Peachey a bankrupt.

Lot 1 A compact dwelling house, barn, stables and other outhouses, in good repair, with the yards, garden and orchard; also 31A 2R of marsh or fen land, freehold and 5A 1R of marshland, copyhold, lately in occupation of the said bankrupt. This is a very desirable situation for a person in the corn and coal trade, having a good navigation adjoining the premises.

Lot 2 Three acres of rich upland pasture ground, copyhold

Lot 3. Two granaries, coal warehouse, and yard, freehold

Lot 4 Half an acre of land, lying in the stone pit, freehold

All the above are in Reach the aforesaid.

Lot 5 One acre of arable land, lying in Mildenhall Suffolk.
