Execution of George Miller, taken from the Cambridge Chronicle, 12th August 1786, pg 3.
Friday last, George Miller was executed in the Castle Yard, pursuant to his sentence, for murder of Elizabeth Hunt. At the place of execution he acknowledged the justice of his sentence, joined in loud and fervent prayer with the minister who attended him, and was turned off, calling upon God to forgive him. After hanging the usual time, his body was cut down, and delivered to Mr. Okes, surgeon, for dissection.
