Commission of Bankrupt, taken from the Cambridge Chronicle, 11th September 1790 pg 4

The Commissioners in a renewed commission of bankrupt awarded and issued forth against Simon Godfrey of the hamlet of Reach, in the parish of Burwell, in the county of Cambridge, malster, dealer and chapman, intend to meet on the sixteenth  day of September next at 11 0'clock in the forenoon, at the White Horse Inn in Great Saxham in the county of Suffolk, in order to make a dividend of the estates and effects of the said bankrupt; when and where the creditors , who have not already proved  their debts are to come prepared to prove the said dividend. And all claims not then proved will be disallowed.
