A SHOE BOX OF LOVE


We send to you this love in a box, and hope you

Will find

Something that will bring you some pleasure, of a

Special kind

A woollen jumper to keep you warn, and some socks

For your feet

And a big bar of milk chocolate, just for a nice little

Treat

A soft cuddly rabbit. for you to love, and a comb for

Your hair

And a pair of very dark sun glasses, to stop the suns

Constant glare

Now something for a baby boy, some booties and a

Romper suit in blue

A pair of warm knitted gloves, and a small baby rattle

To

A small teddy bear for him to hug, and a soft brush

For his hair

And a shawl to wrap him in, to protect him from the

Cold evening air

Now for a baby girl, a dress in sunset pink and a woollen

Bonnet to keep her warn

And a bar of sweet smelling soap, and a soft small toy

Cuddly fawn

A thin pair of rubber pants just to keep her warm and

Dry

And some new hanker chiefs, in case she wakes up and

Cry

Now for the older boys and girls, there are some games

To play

A pack of shining playing cards, to pass the long days

Away

A selection of make up, so you can hide away all your

Tears

And two pair of sparkling clip on earrings, to decorate

Your ears

A bar of smelly soap and a tooth brush, and a soft flannel

For your face

And some brightly coloured hair slides, to keep your hair

In place

All these small gifts we send to you, and from our hearts
