I am overwhelmed by the number of expressions of sympathy following the recent death of my very dear wife, including many from those living in Reach. I hope this letter will forgive me for thanking them for their kindness through ‘Out of Reach’ and not replying individually for me Angela was very special.

An interesting view of fair day was depicted on the cover of the June/July copy of Out of Reach it was nice to see the Church in the background.

I would just like to comment that I think it is a shame that on fair day the church only raised £113—probably an average figure per year.

I am writing this as someone who is a PCC member but also as someone who helps run a stall.

May I also take this opportunity to say how I really enjoyed reading Katy Lloyd’s ‘ Letter from Nepal’ what an experience , well done Katy.
