REACH VILLAGE HALL

FIREWORKS

Please accept my apologies if you were one of those wandering the village on Sunday 5th November looking for the venue.

Although we cancelled the event at 14.30 hrs and put a large cross through the sign on the green I gather the sign blew down in the wind and rain.

Sorry , but we did try

Tony Jordan

WHIST DRIVE AND CHRISTMAS DRAW

Anyone wishing to learn Whist or brush up on it, is welcome to the Village Hall on Tuesday December 5th and Tuesday 12th December at 8 pm. Ready for the Christmas Whist Drive on Friday December 15th. We need more players

SPORTS CLUB

Boxing Day

For anyone who wishes to run off some Christmas excess or make space for Boxing Day lunch we shall be having a five/six/seven a side football game at 11.00 am on the playing field.

For those who do not wish to exercise their legs, but prefer to exercise their arms there will be an alternative event immediately afterward in the pub.

SPORTS CLUB MEETING

The next meeting of the Sports Club will be on the third Wednesday of February (21st) 2001. This will be held at 7.30 pm in the Village Hall. In order to organise events for the coming year we need more than the four people who turned up for our AGM.

If you are interested in helping us to organise a sporting event please come along. All ages are welcomeT
