BIKESHED YOUTH THEATRE

Bikeshed Youth Theatre ( formerly the Bikeshed Theatre Company ) are busy in rehearsal for their next play to be performed in early December. Keeping to their usual tradition of original scripts, 'The Hamlyn Project' uses music and dance as well as experimental theatre styles. The play explores unrealistic expectations as it follows five very talented teenagers on their road to fame while contrasting their lives with those of five similar aged hopefuls who are unable to attain their dreams.

DOGS - DON'T JUST COMPLAIN TO EACH OTHER ABOUT THEM

Once again there seem to be complaints about unaccompanied dogs being allowed to wander the village. This is actually illegal within the boundaries of a 30 mph speed limit, but it is also undesirable if the dog fouls grass, footpaths etc. or frightens people. The dog warden, Veronica Avory, at East Cambridgeshire District Council is there to help you. She can be contacted at any time by calling 01353 665555 and asking for the dog warden.

One particular dog (a spotted Great Dane called Madison) has come in for criticism. Its owner is adamant that the dog no longer escapes and has requested that if anyone has a complaint about the dog they contact her directly on 0780-3014565.
