Health for Life

Activities for older or lonely people

This very successful community project urgently needs drivers who are willing to take older or lonely people living in or near Reach to their activities. Drivers receive help with their fuel costs and can choose to stay and enjoy the activity too, free of charge.

Health for Life clients attend village clubs and Community Education classes in art, crafts, creative writing, Tai Chi, local history, scrabble and much, much more. They and their drivers thoroughly enjoy the activities - and so could you if you have a couple of hours spare a week and would like to spend it helping older or lonely people get out of their homes, meet other people and start feeling better.

If you would like to find out more about Health for Life and would like to help, please contact Samara Philpott, Burwell Community Office, 01638 741901.
