Project 2000

I have lived in Reach for about nine years now, and it is great to live in what is a very small village that has such spirit ( even more so now that the pub is open again)

Look at what has been achieved over the years, the wood planting, we now have a fabulous play area and playing field and more recently the hard work that went into the pub by both professionals and volunteers.

How about getting your teeth into a new project?

The church has both maintenance and improvement work that needs to be done, and much could be achieved with a little of your time. We have arranged a meeting for

Saturday 12th February 10.00 am in Reach Church to discuss just this.

Apart from much needed maintenance work we would like to improve the entrance to church.

We would like to create an entrance lobby with notice boards and kitchen unit area with a central entrance from this into church.

You may not realise it but at present coffins cannot be manoeuvred easily into church. This is no way to carry on and we need to rectify this as soon as possible. The font will be moved to achieve the central entrance and the final part of the project is to enlarge the vestry.
