REACH LADIES NIGHT OUT

As the weeks fly by sometimes you never see anyone maybe a quick "hello" or a wave as you pass in the car, so any excuse to go to the pub for a meal, we decided to have a ladies night out, what started with a few soon rose and so just before Xmas 25 ladies from Reach went to The Dyke’s End to enjoy an evening of meeting, chatting, drinking and eating a lovely meal cooked by Phil, it all went so well that it was suggested that we do it again. I know there was a lot that would have liked to have come to the last one, please don't feel offended or left out as you did not get asked, as it was the first one and I was surprised at the interest and hoped we could all be seated!!. To give everyone the opportunity to come we've arranged another night.

THURSDAY 6TH APRIL

7-30 pm

THE DYKE’S END

If you would liked to come or find out more please phone Karen 742946 or Janet 741424

MILLENNIUM MUG

As part of the Reach Millennium celebrations, special commemorative mugs have been designed (our thanks in particular to Hannah Webb) and manufactured.

Some people ordered and paid for mugs a while ago and the Parish Council took the decision to donate one to every member of the community under 18 years-of-age.

By now the mugs have been distributed. If you feel that your family members are eligible but for some reason have not been given a mug; or you would like to buy one please phone Penny Lang (743302).

PARKING ON FAIR GREEN

In the last Out of Reach there were two letters stating that notes had been put on card windscreens objecting to the vehicles being parked outside residential dwellings on Fair Green.

The Parish Council would like to confirm that as long as the vehicle is not causing an obstruction and is pointing in the direction of the traffic there is nothing unlawful about parking on the public highway.
