Children in need disco thanks to all that helped, donated prizes, bought raffle and supported the disco held in reach village hall in November. We raised £555.00. Thank you. K Turner. |

Children in need disco We would like to thank everyone that helped us to raise a fantastic £555.00. A big thank you goes to the village hall, Cliff and Helen for doing the disco, all in the village that donated prizes, bought raffle tickets and supported us on the evening, Lorraine at the Red Lion for raising over £40 00, Phil at the Dykes End for setting up the bar and for his donation, thank you. Toni king for a bottle of champagne, Dave for the bottle of whisky, A and M Greenhill builders for the lovely hamper, local companies and businesses for generously donating prizes, vouchers, chocolates, wine and loads, loads more. We apologise to anyone we have not mentioned. The children and the `big kids' played games and enjoyed fireworks thanks to Glenn Newman and Ron Dunnett, a great time was had by all!!!. Well done Nicky for helping Wendy with the children and the games and Karen for dressing up as a clown for the children !!!. Well done and thank you to Wendy, Karen and Gill. Thanks to all. |
