The job is finished and I was delighted at the wonderful turnout for its launch in the Village Hall. From the general comments it has passed muster and I hope it will have been a well-received Christmas present in many homes, remaining a constant reminder of what to me is a unique and very pleasant village. It was a team effort, although the team was not as big as I would have liked, but that is water under the bridge now. The layout by Matthew is superb, beautifully enhanced by the illustrations of Hannah. As with every project like this there is always a back room stalwart, a special thank you Penny for the many hours of proof reading and constant encouragement to me when things were not going well. Every man has a good lady around him, thank you Maureen, as I do believe I did get quite grumpy on the odd occasion when my computer would not spell correctly. Sales are going well with over half the print run sold, so if you have not purchased your copy, remember once they have gone no more will be printed.
