Would you like to create your own village's Millennium folk dance? Well, why not join The Tollhouse Company at their family folk dance workshops. Bring along your family, friends and neighbours and together you will create some new dances for 2000 - how about the Downham Dash (or Dawdle—how fit are you?), the Stetchworth Stomp and the Isleham Slide…….and what about a Millennium dance for Reach?

The workshops will begin with English country dancing. You will try a few familiar steps and some traditional dances, before putting ideas together for the first ever dance named after your village.

There will be three local workshops culminating in a barn dance. All the workshops start at 6.30 pm and finish at 8.30 pm: there're on Monday 10th April (Ellesmere Centre, Stetchworth), Tuesday 11th April (Isleham Primary School) or Wednesday 12th April (Little Downham Village Centre). There is a lower age limit of 6 and tickets are £2/£1. The barn dance on Friday 14th at Lodeside Hall in Soham starts at 6.30 pm and finishes at 10.30 pm.
