800th Anniversary Celebrations The unveiling of the plaque to commemorate the 800th anniversary of the charter

	A meeting took place on the Green to decided where the plaque was to be mounted—Not too high—Left a bit an hour or two later the decision was made and the plaque was duly fixed to the wall.
County, District, Parish Councillors, and members of the public watch as the plaque was unveiled by the Mayor of Cambridge Evelyn Knowles. On the 8th January 2001
