Village Hall Meeting

Minutes of the Meeting held on the 20th June 2001 at 8 pm in the Village Hall

Present: Wendy Cole, Rita Dunnett, Andrew Hall, Joyce Harrison, Keith Lambert, Tony Jordan, Glen Newman, Jill Stearn

1. Apologies: Jen Holmwood, Tony Kerry, Jenny Moseley, Sue Summers,

    Note: Tony Jordan acted as Chairperson at this meeting.

2. The minutes of last meeting were read and agreed

3. Matters Arising: Nothing to discuss

4. Correspondence: Tony had received information from the Charities Commission regarding 'Grant
    Applications'.

5. Treasurers Report: Community Account £15,873.93p

Deposit Account  £2791.18p

Total         £18,665.11p

     The `Fair Accounts' were still to be finalised some advertising money still to come in and some awards still
      to pay.

6. Maintenance

     Robert Wood was not present at the meeting

7. Planning Report: Tony Kerry not present at the meeting

8. Fair 2002: Fair Sub-committee to be reformed after the AGM

9. Future Events:

Wednesday 18th July will be the Annual General Meeting

Firework Party - the committee voted not to hold such an event this year due to the lack of a suitable location.

AOB: Tony reminded the committee that Sports Day was this Sunday 24 June to be held on the Playing Field and include a Bar-B-Q; donations of cakes would be welcome.

Joyce asked if it would be possible to have a clear up around the hall. Tony Jordan agreed to ask Edward to do this one Saturday.
