PLEASE SLOW DOWN The other night it was so nice that we decided to go for a stroll. We walked up to Fair Green where our children saw their friends on the swings and stopped to play. We carried on, the sun was shining, children playing, people with horses and dogs etc. Just the way a village should be - until a car came flying down the road and skidded to a standstill, as if half expecting his pit-stop team to change his tyres. I thought I was at Silverstone - I like the Grandprix but not on my doorstep. Seriously, as one of the many concerned parents in the village, with the summer coming up and our children out playing in this lovely quite little place… PLEASE SLOW DOWN Thanks. Karen Turner |
